MOOC For NTU Students
NTU students can take selected Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) offered by other top universities and to receive academic credits for them. Students may take the pre-approved MOOCs at any time and at their own pace, to supplement courses that are not available at NTU. Many of the approved courses come from top global universities such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, and Imperial College London.
To apply for credit transfer for a MOOC that you have completed, you may submit your application for credit transfer through the Internet Portal. The application must include the certificate and supporting document which shows the enrolment and completion date, as well as a reflection report on what you have learnt from the course. Only certificates issued within the last 3 years from the date of application for credit transfer are accepted.
Application for credit transfer should be made as early as possible so that your academic records are kept up-to-date. Application received by Teaching Week 11 will have the credits recorded in the same semester. Application received after Teaching Week 11 will have the credits recorded in the following semester. The record will either be in Semester 1 or Semester 2 only.
