Several scholarship programmes are available to support those pursuing undergraduate studies at NTU CCEB, some of which are listed below. You can apply for these scholarships while applying for admission into one of our undergraduate programme. Other scholarship programmes not listed here, may require separate applications.

NTU President Award

The NTU President Award is a prestigious award given to students with exceptional leadership qualities, excellent co-curricular records and outstanding academic results. Renaissance Engineering Programme Scholarship (REPS)

The REP Scholarship is awarded to outstanding freshmen pursuing a full-time Renaissance Engineering Programme in NTU.

CN Yang Scholars Programme Scholarship

The CN Yang Scholars Programme Scholarship (CNYSPS) is awarded to outstanding freshmen in science and engineering fields. The CNYSP nurtures future leaders at the interface of science and engineering, with a focus on technological innovation and scientific communication. Empowered by a strong science and engineering training, the programme curates multidisciplinary courses in mathematics, research, making-and-tinkering, internship and global learning to prepare students to lead in the next phase of technological evolution. Scholars will embark on this unique journey which truly embrace the spirits of innovation, persistence and social capital, allowing them to make impact in a diverse range of careers they wish to embrace in the future.

NTU-University Scholars Programme (NTU-USP) Scholarship

The NTU-USP Scholarship is awarded to outstanding freshmen pursuing the NTU-University Scholars Programme.

Nanyang Global Scholarship

The Nanyang Global Scholarship is awarded to outstanding freshmen pursuing undergraduate programmes and recognises students with excellent academic results, demonstrate strong leadership abilities, and very good co-curricular records.

NTU Talent Scholarship

NTU Talent Scholarship is awarded to NTU undergraduates with outstanding talent achievements, including artistic, sporting and leadership/interpersonal talents representing NTU or Singapore or having made a significant societal impact within and outside NTU. Talents include but not limited to: 

  • Artistic individuals: singer, designer, artist, writer, filmmaker, musician, songwriter, actor/actress, dancer/choreographer 
  • Sporting professionals: athletics, boxing, yoga, triathlon/para triathlon 
  • Leadership and community builder: public speaker, entrepreneurial talents, leader, motivator, network builder, peacemaker, tech disruptor, innovation entrepreneur, eco champions, well-being and healthcare advocate, culture and society specialist

Nanyang Merit Scholarship

The Nanyang Merit Scholarship is awarded to outstanding freshmen pursuing full-time undergraduate programmes in NTU. On top of tuition fee coverage and an annual living allowance, widen your horizons and explore the world with our generous overseas travel allowance.

Dean’s Award

The Dean’s Award seeks to provide academically top students with the opportunity to further their holistic development in NTU. The Dean’s Award provides students with the opportunity to join the NTU Talent Development Programme (TDP) and Undergraduate Research Experience on Campus (URECA) Programme.

Lee Han Shih Uplift Award

The award encourages those from non-traditional pathways including those with a diploma from the Institute of Technical Education and working adults to pursue their first Bachelor’s degree as full-time undergraduates.

LKY-STEP Award

The Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship to Encourage Upgrading (LKY-STEP) Award was established from donations received from Mr Lee Kuan Yew through the sale proceeds of autographed editions of Volume 2 of his Memoirs. The objective of the award is to encourage lifelong learning and will be offered to outstanding polytechnic graduates pursuing full-time undergraduate degree programmes at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) or Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).

Tan Seow Chiap - POWERS Scholarship

The Tan Seow Chiap - POWERS Scholarship is a grant to support women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by encouraging female students at the point of admission into university to pursue a career in STEM.

Temasek Foundation Scholarships

The Temasek Foundation Scholarships honour the legacy of three outstanding union leaders who tirelessly championed for the welfare of lower-income workers and advocated for access to certified training and skills upgrading. The Scholarships support students (and their families) from lower income backgrounds by providing annual living expenses and a family incentive component for the duration of study. University Engineering Scholarship

The University Engineering Scholarship (UES) is open to Polytechnic Diploma holders from Singapore who are pursuing a full-time Engineering/ Technology-related undergraduate programme at one of the following Autonomous University: 

  • National University of Singapore (NUS)
  • Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
  • Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)
  • Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)

Wee Cho Yaw Future Leaders Award

The Wee Cho Yaw Future Leaders Award was established by United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) to provide tertiary education opportunities for students from less privileged backgrounds.

ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship

The ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship is offered by the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) for citizens or permanent residents from the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), except Singapore.
