About ES Lab
Engineering Software (ES) Lab consists of EST Lab 1 & 2 and the Engineering Software Project (ESP) Lab.
EST Lab 1 & 2 have been structured to support teaching and student learning with over 140 workstations to allow students to learn engineering software, scanning, complete course assignments and projects.
The ESP Lab is configured to support FYP & research projects with 40 workstations able to run analysis software for an extended period of time.
Lab Facilities
Engineering Software Teaching Lab 1 (EST Lab 1)
- 70 workstations for student learning, completing course assignments and projects
- Location: Block N1-B2b-13
Engineering Software Teaching Lab 2 (EST Lab 2)
- 70 workstations for student learning, completing course assignments and projects
- Location: Block N1-B2b-13
Engineering Software Project Lab (ESP Lab)
- 40 workstations for research and FYP students to run analysis software
- Requires approval for room access and after-office hours use.
- Location: Block N1-B3c-48
Operating Hours
Mon-Thurs: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Friday: 8:30 am - 4:45 pm
Sat/Sun/Public Holidays: Closed
Important Note
- Users are not allowed to stay beyond 10:00 pm (Mon-Thurs) in ESP Lab
- Door of ESP Lab will be locked on Eve of all Public Holidays after office hours
- Eve of major holidays (New Year/CNY/Christmas) lab's operate from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
