Tan Swan Beng Professorship in Construction Industry

The Tan Swan Beng Professorship in Construction Industry was established in 1998 by a fundraising committee with 270 donors. With 1:1 government matching fund, a total capital of S$2,578,741.74 was raised.

The fund will be used for:

Grants for Renaissance Engineering Programme (REP) students specialising in Civil Engineering.

Funding Visiting Professorship activities, including lectures, talks, symposiums, workshops, and appointments of professors or industry experts in Civil Engineering and Construction, including green technology/infrastructure and sustainable earth construction technology.
