JENESYS is a people-to-people exchange programme between Japan and the Asia-Pacific region launched by the Japanese Government. JENESYS consists of INBOUND Program from Asia-Pacific region and OUTBOUND program to Asia-Pacific region.
The program aims at promoting mutual trust and understanding among the people of Japan and the Asia-Pacific region and building a basis for future friendship and cooperation by these INBOUND and OUTBOUND programs. It also encourages an understanding and dissemination of Japan’s economics, society, history, diverse culture, politics and diplomatic relations.
- Bona fide citizens of Singapore
- Must understand and agree to the objective of JENESYS and its guidelines
- 18 – 35 years old as of the program date
- Must be in good health*
- Sufficient skills in English
- Must commit to sharing and disseminating both information on Japan and their experiences of the program by social networking services (SNS) etc., and Possession of a Facebook account with active postings.
- Must commit to cooperate for the questionnaires during and after the program
- Working in the theme-related fields / organizations**
*Some persons suffering from chronic diseases (diagnosed or undiagnosed) may be accepted by obtaining medical certificate and/or declaration of consent. Pregnant person cannot join the program.
**The students involved in study, research or activity relevant to Japan or Japanese culture over 1 year have priority.

MSRDP Overseas Programme Award is co-funded by National Research Foundation (NRF) and NTU College of Science. It aims to encourage students to conduct research on marine science, enhancing national talent developing and manpower training in this area.

This summer program is offering the experience of the study and research in the area of Science, Technology, Agriculture, and Maritime of Kobe University and the advanced research institute nearby. This program invites about 25 undergraduate or graduate students from the universities with academic exchange agreement with Kobe University.
As well as lectures in English, the students will experience sea training on the University's training ship Fukaemaru, participate in hands-on agricultural training at the Food Resources Education and Research Center, and visit the SPring-8 facilities and so on. On the final day of the week-long program, Dean of the Graduate School of Science will present each student with a certificate of completion.
Eligibility
- Undergraduate or graduate students at a university that has an academic exchange agreement with Kobe University.
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at his or her university.
- Be recommended by his or her university.
- Have no experience of visiting Japan after entering university.
- Age 41 or below.
- Has a passport of a country which is eligible for invitation for SAKURA Exchange Program in Science

The summit aims to gather young leaders from different parts of the world to give them a new perspective and a broader understanding on peacebuilding.
The summit features keynote speakers, networking sessions and interactive workshops to prepare and empower young leaders to be a champion of peace.
The summit aims to:
- Encourage delegates to creatively think about practical ways to affect positive change within their communities through social projects.
- Promote peace and non-violence as a form of effective diplomacy among emerging global leaders.
- Encourage delegates to think about social issues that the global community faces today, and to apply critical thinking skills on solutions to these challenges.
- Provide access to unique educational opportunities in which delegates can gain knowledge in peacebuilding.

- Applicants should be between the ages of 17 to 35 years old.
- They should be passionate about social change, global issues and current affairs.
- A self-initiated 1-year opportunity to promote peace as a Humanitarian Affairs Peace Ambassador.

The University Scholars Leadership Symposium (USLS) is a week-long leadership development training program. The Symposium will bring together 1,000 of the world’s most promising leaders to one stimulating platform in the heart of Asia. The Program has been designed for young persons who are committed to making this world a much better place for the human race.
