A Learning Journey to NIE by Anglo-Chinese School (Independent)

Teachers from Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) made a learning journey to NIE on 21 February 2023. They were led by Tan Aik Lim to tour the Science of Learning in Education Centre (SoLEC) and the Internet of Things (IoT) lab. Dr Khng Kiat Hui, Associate Professor Lee Ngan Hoe, and Dr Zhu Ying gave presentations on enhancing students' executive functioning, metacognition, and mathematical reasoning and thinking. The teachers learned about the effects of cognitive load and challenges in mathematics and accountancy instruction and learning.
