Congratulations Assoc Prof Teo Tang Wee on publishing a chapter in STEM Education for Girls and Women: Breaking Barriers and Exploring Gender Inequality in Asia with UNESCO!

Chapter 7 of the UNESCO publication discusses the evaluation findings of an international STEM programme that is designed for girls. The programme is implemented in Singapore schools with the goal to promote more girls to pursue STEM education and careers. The instruments examines five theoretical constructs and illuminated insights on areas that the programme designers, instructors and school teachers can focus on to improve the effectiveness of STEM efforts. A total of eight recommendations are offered and six critical features of a successful STEM programme for girls are identified.
