Assoc Prof Teo Tang Wee Wins Best Paper Award and Speaks on Science Education

Assoc Prof Teo Tang Wee from the Natural Sciences & Science Education Academic Group in NIE has published a paper based on her research project “Science Teachers and Teaching of Students with Special Education Needs”. The paper, titled “A survey of science teachers’ perception and practices in inclusive science classrooms”, was published in the Asia-Pacific Science Education journal and has won the Asia-Pacific Science Education Best Paper Award 2020.

Based on her research findings, Assoc Prof Teo was also invited to speak at the Korean Association of Science Education Conference 2021, where she spoke on “Singapore Science Teachers’ Perception and Practices in Inclusive Science Classrooms”. The recording of her speech can be accessed here:
