SLL professor Edward Park wins Nanyang Research Award (Young Investigator)

On 9 November 2023, Asst Prof Edward Park from NIE received the prestigious Nanyang Research Award (Young Investigator) from the President and Provost of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Launched in 2005, the Nanyang Awards give the highest recognition to faculty, staff and students for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the University.

Asst Prof Edward Park’s research aims to advance the discourse on the sustainable management of large rivers. Specifically, his work attends to hydro-geomorphic processes and wetland hydro-sedimentary dynamics, through the tools of geospatial technologies, hydrological modeling, statistical methods, and traditional fieldwork in geomorphology. Find out more about Asst Prof Edward Park’s research here.
