Translation 4 Impact Webinar Series – Sustaining ICT Innovations for Greater Impact: Enablers and Challenges

On 10 September 2024, the Research-Practice-Policy Group at the Office of Education Research held its 3rd Translation 4 Impact (T41) webinar, where they hosted Dr Elizabeth Koh, Senior Education Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice, and Deputy Director (Academic), Research Support at the Education Research Funding Programme Office, where she presented three case studies showcasing information and communications technology (ICT) innovations that have been translated and/or scaled in some form – Collaborative Video-Based Annotation and Analytics (CoVAA), WiREAD+ and My Groupwork Buddy. Each case study highlighted the enablers and challenges encountered post-research project to sustain the innovation. Additionally, lessons learned were provided, offering researchers and education officers insightful considerations for their work.
