专家:疫情压力或影响考生学习表现
Shinmin Daily noted how students in graduating cohorts had been forced to make unprecedented adjustments while preparing for milestone tests, and carried interviews with students and parents. Dr Jason Tan, associate professor in the policy, curriculum and leadership academic group at NIE, who said that negotiating two HBL sessions and adjusting to various safety measures both in and out of school would have been challenging;
一年半的疫情生活对今年的应届考生造成压力, 或影响他们的学习表现。
今年参加小六离校会考以及 O、N、A水准会考的考生们, 从去年起便因为疫情, 被迫调整学习模式包括居家学习。如今,他们已进入最后半年的冲刺阶段, 但疫情仍在全球肆虐。
新加坡国立教育学院副教授陈英泰博士接受《新报》访问时说, 要协调两次居家学习, 并适应校内和校外的各种安全防疫措施都具挑战性。
“这些会考在决定学生生涯的下一阶段起着重要作用, 而要在病毒造成的干扰中参加会考的情况并不理想。"
陈英泰表示,这些会考的重要性可想而知, 这段时间对于考生来说已经很大的压力。
他们面对和同学分开, 以及没有共同课程辅助活动 (CCA) 等社交隔离挑战, 势必会影响到考生的社交和情绪, 这也会影响到他们的学习表现。
