Admission
The MTI Programme offers two intakes, one in January and another in August.
Admission to the MTI Programme will be based on a candidate’s prior academic record, language proficiency, and professional experience.
All shortlisted applicants are required to go through interview.

International applicants whose medium of instructions was not in English at the tertiary level should provide IELTS/TOEFL results. If your degree was conducted in English, please provide an official Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate or document from your institution that clearly states English as the language of instruction for all courses. International applicants whose medium of instructions was not in Chinese language at the tertiary level should provide HSK Level 6 results. If your degree was conducted in Chinese language, please provide an official Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate or document from your institution that clearly states Chinese language as the language of instruction for all courses. *Note: The following test reports reflecting date beyond 31 December 2023 are not eligible:

Interview & Screening Test
In addition to the above requirements, all short‐listed applicants will be required to undergo an interview.
Screening test is not compulsory. Only selected applicants will be requested to take the screening test, based on their interview performance, prior academic records, etc. Screening test comprises two translation and two interpretation tasks in Chinese and English. Applicants are to submit their answers by a deadline given. The final selection of candidates will be determined based on their interview performance, screening test results and the review of their application.
