• President, Singapore Physical Education Association (SPEA)

Associate Professor Koh Koon Teck has been re-elected as the President of SPEA, making it his 3^rd term in leading the association to influence the PE and Sport fraternity.


Regional Impact

• President, ASEAN Council of Physical Education & Sport (ACPES)

Associate Professor Koh Koon Teck has been elected as President to lead the ACPES (2020-2022). This appointment would allow him to have a greater impact on promoting communication, interaction, and cooperation among the ASEAN physical and sport education professionals and students. At the same time, to campaign for a high standard of professional development in the field of PE and sport among the ASEAN countries. The ACPES was established in 2012. Currently, its members include universities from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Cambodia.

Global Impact

• Consultant, Project with World Bowling Federation (WBF)

The World Bowling Federation (WBF) has approached Associate Professor Koh Koon Teck to be their consultant in its new initiative, the Global Coach Education project. His prominent role is to lead the team in conceptualising and implementing the Coach Education programme (e.g. developing the coaching curriculum, training instructors to deliver the content) to the national bowling federations worldwide.
