Welcome to the Campus Asia+ Social Innovation Forum!
Under the theme of promoting Dialogue of Civilizations and fostering Cultural Intelligence, the Campus Asia+ Social Innovation Forum aims to jointly develop social innovators who can address the challenges facing contemporary Asian societies. Our program leverages the collective expertise of four prestigious Asian universities – Waseda University, Peking University, Korea University, and the School of Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University – to prepare students to lead and implement positive change in the post-COVID era.
The Campus Asia+ Social Innovation Forum aims to:
- Establish educational cooperation in social sciences.
- Produce social innovators with cultural intelligence.
- Disseminate educational outcomes in Asian societies.
- Promote the Dialogue of Civilizations across Asia.

Exchange Program
Program Overview
The Campus Asia+ Social Innovation Forum is a non-degree student exchange program that offers participants the opportunity to engage in joint education, study abroad, and participate in the annual Social Innovation Forum. The program promotes cultural exchange and fosters a deeper understanding of societal challenges through collaborative learning and research.
- Program-Designated Courses:
Tailored courses offered by each university, focusing on common themes and fostering cultural intelligence.
- Social Innovation Project: Students define and explore a theme related to societal issues through individual or group projects. Social Innovation Forum: An annual event where students and faculty present, discuss, and collaborate on common social issues.
Participation Details
Eligibility and Participants
The program is open to full-time undergraduate students from the participating universities. Additional students from related partner universities are welcome to join the summer forum.
Number of Exchange Students
Each university sends approximately 10 students per year to the other three universities. The number of participants may vary based on university and social conditions.
Study Abroad Period
- Study Abroad: Half-year or one-year programs.
- Summer Forum: A week-long event held annually.
Credits earned while studying abroad may be counted towards graduation based on the rules of SSS@NTU.
Educational Curriculum
The curriculum includes:
- Program-Designated Courses: Courses aligned with the project's mission and educational objectives.
- Social Innovation Project: Inquiry-based learning on individual or group themes related to societal issues.
- Social Innovation Forum: A platform for presenting and sharing project outcomes, fostering academic synergy among participants.
Certification
Certificate of Participation/Completion
Students who meet the program requirements will receive a certificate of participation or completion, issued by their home university.
