The SSS STAR Awards were created to honour these exceptional individuals, recognizing their diverse achievements in their professional fields and efforts to drive positive change in the world.

Eligibility:

To qualify for the above awards, nominees must be:

  • an NTU School of Social Sciences alumnus
  • supported by evidence of notable achievements and recognition matching to the descriptions of each category
  • for the Rising Stars Award, an NTU School of Social Sciences alumnus under 40 years of age
    (born before 1984)
  • for the Newborn Stars Award, an NTU School of Social Sciences who has graduated within the past 5 years
    (i.e., graduated in 2019 or later)



Nomination Process:

Nominations for the awards can be made by anyone. Submissions should include:

  • A description of the nominee’s major contributions, achievements, and impact.
  • Evidence of the abovementioned
  • Relevant personal details (e.g. name, contact, course) of nominator and nominee
