This award recognizes a recent NTU School of Social Sciences graduate who has achieved exceptional success and impact in their early career. Celebrating those who have, within 5 years of graduation, shown outstanding potential in their careers. This accolade honours individuals who embody NTU's values and set a high standard for future alumni.

Eligibility:

To qualify for the above awards, nominees must be:

  • an NTU School of Social Sciences alumnus
  • supported by evidence of notable achievements and recognition matching to the descriptions of each category
  • for the Rising Stars Award, an NTU School of Social Sciences alumnus under 40 years of age
    (born before 1984)
  • for the Newborn Stars Award, an NTU School of Social Sciences who has graduated within the past 5 years
    (i.e., graduated in 2019 or later)



Nomination Process:

Nominations for the awards can be made by anyone. Submissions should include:

  • A description of the nominee’s major contributions, achievements, and impact.
  • Evidence of the abovementioned
  • Relevant personal details (e.g. name, contact, course) of nominator and nominee
