What We Do

The Psychology and Child & Human Development Department (PCHD) prepares the next generations of psychologists, counsellors, educators, and education specialists to thrive and succeed in a rapidly evolving world shaped by globalization and technological advancements. Our faculty and staff strive to facilitate student success.

Our strength lies within the diversity of expertise and specializations in PCHD including psychology, counselling, teacher education, early childhood education, special educational needs, learning sciences, motivation, cognitive science, and mental health.

Our goals include advancing research and application in psychology and education, achieving excellence in training psychologist, counsellors, educators, and education specialists, driving innovation to enhance professional practices, and offering high-quality professional development, consultancy, and psychological services to schools and the wider community.
