Singapore River (2008) was a gift from Lim Tze Peng to NTU Museum and the subject of the museum's inaugural exhibition 'Inroads: Lim Tze Peng's New Ink Work' in October 2008.

About the Artist
Lim Tze Peng (b. 1921, Singapore) is a Culture Medallion recipient (2003), renowned for his Chinese calligraphy and Chinese ink creations that often depict post-independent Singapore. Lim believes it is his mission to document what was left of the old Singapore.
