Low Tuck Kwong Foundation gifts $8 million to enhance accessible education and develop talent

The Low Tuck Kwong Foundation has pledged a gift of S$8 million to NTU Singapore, which will be used to boost the University’s commitment to accessible education and global talent development.
The gift will fund a new bursary for Singaporean undergraduates facing the greatest financial need. A scholarship will also be set up to attract Indonesia’s top students to pursue a full-time master’s degree at NTU.
The Low Tuck Kwong Foundation is a private charitable foundation named after Indonesian philanthropist and businessman Dato’ Dr Low Tuck Kwong. The foundation is committed to improving lives and uplifting communities in Singapore, Southeast Asia, and the world to build a better society for future generations.
The gift was formalised today at a signing ceremony at NTU, attended by Dato’ Dr Low Tuck Kwong and his children, Mr David Low and Ms Elaine Low, along with NTU President Professor Ho Teck Hua.
