David Su Tuong Sing

David Su is a founding managing partner at MPCi, focused primarily on Internet, software, energy technology and healthcare investments.
David has been investing in China over the past two decades and some of his early-stage investments include XPeng (NYSE: XPEV/HK: 9868), Didi Chuxing (NYSE: DIDI), Ele. me (acquired by Alibaba in 2018), Bona Film (NASDAQ: BONA), Baidu (NSDQ: BIDU), Kingfriend Biochemical (CH: 603707), China Youzan (HK: 8083), AAC Technologies (HK: 2018).
Before MPCi, David was a founding partner of TDF Capital and KPCB China. Prior to joining the venture capital industry, David worked at Lotus Development, IBM Software Group for seven years and was last responsible for Lotus’ software and services business in Greater China region.
David is a member of the Forbes Midas List since 2023, which recognizes the top 100 tech investors from across the globe. David graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. David currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Nanyang Technological University Singapore and CapitaLand Investment Limited.
