Online Verification

Verification is a mandatory and essential process for becoming an enrolled NTU student. Extensions are not allowed for uploading documents required to complete the e-verification process. To ensure a smooth start to orientation, we encourage you to submit your documents early.

  1. Click here to log in.
  2. Key in Application number, click “Go”.
  3. Key In NRIC/ Passport number and date of birth (DD-MMM-YYY), click “Submit”.
  4. Check that all particulars (Name, Date of Birth, Citizenship, Gender, etc.) are correct.
  5. Ensure the following is accurate:
    • Contact information
      If you do not have a local address, you may indicate current address.
      Note: You may update your latest address and local contact number through Graduate Student Link (GSLink), once accessible.
    • Emergency Contact
      • Ensure that email address (if applicable) is in small letters.
      • Emergency address has to be indicated.  Note: You may update your emergency contact in Graduate Student Link (GSLink), once accessible.
    • Employment in NTU (if applicable)
    • Eligibility for MOE Subsidy
      • Update if you have previously graduated / withdrawn from any programme from any local Autonomous University.
    • For Full-time Student Only (if applicable)
      • Update if you have outstanding obligations in relation to scholarship or bond from previous programme from NTU.
    • Criminal Records Declaration 
  6. Ensure that all particulars and information are correct before submitting the form. Otherwise, you may click “Save” and return within Online verification period to complete the verification.

International Student with International Qualification

  • Digital copy of Student Pass (Full-time students) / Valid immigration pass (For Part-time students only)
  • Degree verification report (English) from NTU approved credential verification agency
  • Latest Passport (If not yet submitted)

 International Student with Local (Singapore) Qualification

  • Digital copy of Student Pass (Full-time students) / Valid immigration pass (For Part-time students only)
  • Degree verification screen capture from respective local university online degree verification portal
  • Latest Passport (If not yet submitted)

 Singapore Citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident with International Qualification

  • Degree verification report (English) from NTU approved credential verification agency

Singapore Citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident with Local (Singapore) Qualification

International Student with International Qualification

Singapore Citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident with Local (Singapore) Qualification

Please ensure that your documents conform to the following requirements:

  • File size must not be more than 2MB o File name must be in English characters
  • Upload of documents will still be available after you have completed online verification
  • Direct Offer - Applicant has completed their degree programme and has submitted their official degree certificate and transcript earlier during application.
  • Conditional Offer – Applicant awaiting to complete their final term/semester/trimester in their current course of study, with outstanding educational documents. This can be identified in your offer letter with the condition stating, “The offer of admission is on condition that you obtain your Bachelor's degree with a__________ from_________________, ___________  .”
  • Official bachelor’s degree certificate and final transcript – If not in English, please provide both the original and an English translation when uploading.
  • For applicants who have pursued a joint programme between 2 universities, Degree verification reports for both universities are required.

All students must login to the e-Verification portal to complete the form and upload required documents. When completing the form, please ensure your keyboard setting (Language Preference) is “English” and not other languages.

Documents to be uploaded

  1. For Conditional Offer (i.e. subject to attaining a Bachelor/ Masters’ degree), you are required to upload your Bachelor/ Masters’ degree scrolls and Official Transcript (Original and English Language translated).

    If you are unable to upload your Bachelor/ Masters’ degree scroll during verification period, you are to upload a letter of completion from your university stating that you have completed and attained Bachelor/ Masters’ degree.

    Do not complete e-verification if you do not meet the condition stated on the offer letter. Kindly contact your school for assistance.

  2. Degree Verification Report (in English)

    All students holding an overseas bachelor’s degree are required to obtain an official verification report from a NTU-approved credential verification agency. Do refer here for the approved verification agencies. Verification of the highest qualification is mandatory if you possess multiple degrees.

    Please ensure that you upload the report within one month from the start of your semester. It is important to note that if you are on a scholarship, failure to provide the report within two months from the start of your semester will result in the withholding of your stipend.

  3. Full time international students - Valid Student’s Pass (Front and Back or digital copy) issued by Immigration and Checkpoint Authority of Singapore (ICA). This will be available once you had completed ICA Student Pass Formalities at NTU (please refer to your respective semester tab). If you have missed the onsite dates, please make an E-Appointment with ICA to complete the formalities.

  4. Last day of Employment Letter (applicable only for students who resign to pursue PhD/Master at NTU).

  5. If you are currently pursuing a degree at another university, please provide a termination letter from your previous university as proof of your withdrawal from the program to pursue your PhD/Masters’ degree at NTU. This requirement is applicable only to students who fall under this category.

    If the Office of Admissions has notified you about any additional documents required, please ensure that you furnish those documents accordingly.

Update personal contact details

All students must ensure their Emergency Contact, Singapore Mailing Address and Singapore Contact Number is updated accordingly inside the Online Verification form. If Singapore mailing address and Singapore contact number is not available upon submission of online verification form, you are required to update the information in Graduate Student Link (GSLink) once accessible.

The bill for tuition fees and miscellaneous fees will be sent to the student by the NTU Shared Services (NSS-Finance) approximate 2 weeks after you have registered formally with the University.

Please ensure that you have updated your Singapore bank details via GSLink. In addition, international students need to be in Singapore for allowances/stipends disbursement. Kindly notify your respective school when you have reached Singapore.
