For decades, Tanjong Library has kept a highly treasured artefact: Codex Tanjong, named for the library that has safekept it all these years, is a handwritten book its founder inherited from their ancestor who collected strange antiquities. However, even the most brilliant minds around have struggled to decipher the text as it’s written in a secret cryptic language that has lost its leads in history, rendering it a cold case.

After the untimely death of the library's previous president, his successor inherits the library -- and Codex Tanjong -- with a special message from him to crack the code before its too late. As such, she has decided to reach out to the land's smartest and most reputable academic institutions for answers, and that's where you come in to save the day.

As Tanjong Library’s newly recruited curators, it’s up to you to delve into the case and finally crack the code behind this text. There will be pitfalls, there will be frustrations, and there will be hardship -- but we trust that you will prevail in your discoveries and hard work.
