About POWERS
The Promotion of Women in Engineering, Research and Science (POWERS) is supported by Singapore's Ministry of Education, and NTU’s College of Engineering, College of Science, and Graduate College, and driven by the WOMEN@NTU team, to recruit and empower women with a long-term goal of increasing gender diversity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) careers.
We believe women will pursue STEM when they believe they belong and can succeed in STEM. To this believe, we aim to build a supportive environment where women and girls are inspired and empowered to pursue their passions in STEM. Together with our partners, our CoRE framework will Connect future engineers and scientists to role models and mentors, perform Research to better inform our program developments, and Educate by producing materials to make STEM more exciting for the next generation of women in Singapore.
The POWERS programme is featured on the UNESCO Open and Inclusive Science Hub.
